Officially tagged CVE-2019-12936, the vulnerability exists within BlueStacks’ IPC mechanism and an IPC interface. At its core was the inexistence of correct and thorough authentication protocols. The bug has been issued a CVSS score of 7.1, which is a lot lower than the Oracle WebLogic Server security vulnerability that we recently reported. Due to this reason, BlueStacks is widely used to play games on Windows PC.
